I would stick with ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI names for quality. Since you are wanting to save money, the B75 or H77 chipsets are probably what you would be interested in.
The motherboard you currently have is a Micro-ATX motherboard. If you don't have room in the case for a standard ATX motherboard, you will need a Micro-ATX for a replacement.
Another thing to consider is your OS, if you are currently using an OEM license, that license is bound to the motherboard you will be removing. If this is the case, another OS license will be needed when purchasing a new motherboard.
