MS Stuff not needed

That is how its seen in notification area. Click on it, scroll to bottom & it shows Powered by Microsoft news. How do I get rid of it? On my almost brand new HP laptop. Need more ? Ask, thanks

I forgot to mention it has shown up on my other laptops/desktop.

Disregard, I reset my laptop to factory & it showed up on it so I'm guessing its from a MS WU Not something I need, but will have to live with.

Right click the taskbar and see if you can disable/hide it. That is what I ended up doing.

Thaty is why I ended up posting in here, been trying for several days to try to get rid of it, but so far I'm stuck with it.

To disable the news and interests widget, use these steps: Right-click the taskbar. Select the News and interests menu. Check the Turn off option to disable the feature.Apr 29, 2021
