My first custom build PC

Going with the 650 ti BOOST edition from Gigabyte even though the Sapphire was a great deal and would have had better performance I just can't afford it. Planning to order in the next few days, will update you with how the build went since so many people here take their help, run and never come back, thought I should do something different. I will upload a YouTube video with a tour of the build, planning to build in 12 days assuming the parts arrive on time. Will have built my own PC at 14 which will be amazing and I owe it all to everyone here at TechSpot! Thanks for everything guys.

Looking forward to see it on youtube! :)

I might just follow in your footsteps , but it will probably take a little longer since I plan on waiting to the end of October

Glad you went with at least a boost edition 650 ti, that will be a lot better than a regular 650ti (Im not a big fan of anything normally below a 660 or 7850). You should be happy with your purchase, gigabyte make some great cards, and that card will be overclockable if you need the extra bump in performance!.

Well today is my birthday, had all the parts, ready to build, had camera set-up to record it for you guys, and when I came tyo open up the motherboard box it had masking tape sealing the box, I though OK that's fine, then I opened up the box and inside was just the manual and an opened anti-static bag! No I/O shield, no SATA nothing. The strangest part is that I ordered it from Amazon themselves not a strange seller on the amazon website. Had to return it and now I have to wait 2 weeks, 50 hours of school lessons. I think the motherboard had been returned and some retard at Amazon warehouse HQ hadn't checked that all the components were in there. Thanks for ruining my 14th birthday Amazon!
I will again update you on the matter and record it for you guys in two weeks time...
