My laptop will connect with Ethernet but not wifi

I have an HP 15 notebook and it has always been able to connect to my wifi at home and now it has all of a sudden shown the Ethernet icon rather than the wifi signal. It says that there are no connections available but my other devices, such as my tablet and iPhone are able to connect to the wifi. This has never happened before. I tried pressing the keyboard button and it only turns the airplane mode on/off.

If you have turned on the wifi radio and it is still not working, chances are you need a new wifi adapter card. Check your manual for how to replace this. Parts are not expensive.
