My mobo is at 84c

I have 2 temp monitoring programs on my pc and they both say my mobo is at 84c. I only have 2 fans but I opened my case and put a large house fan right in front of it and turned it on.......no change. It will also read at that temp when it is off all night and I check right after I turn it on..........any suggestions?

"I have 2 temp monitoring programs on my pc"... These temp monitoring programs depend on motherboard sensors for their accuracy. Are you really talking about the CPU temp and not the motherboard itself? Is the computer operating normally, with no issues, other than temps?

k sry i meant to update this. Upon further inspection that my connectors for my mobos thermometer are not connected that's why it was reading 85c (the max temp reading). Iwent ahead and aplied new thermal paste to my cpu/heat-sink and my gpu/heat-sink and everything is running beautifully now. Thank you for ur time
