My new DeskJet 3050 won't connect (all-in-one)

i have been trying to connect my printer to my pc or network.



the only thing that i have managed to do with it is to copy a page.



i have followed the instructions step by step untill it searched for the network then it gave me this

then i tryed entering the name manually, it didn't find any thing

then it told me would you like to stay connected threw USB, i clicked yes couse i need to use it.



but it won't print or scan either



when i try to print it show me the box saying printing and stays like that for hours and when i try to scan on the device it says "cannot scan try scanning from the computer", so im trying from my computer when i click activate scan to computer it gives me this

i made sure that it well connected i removed all firewall on router and pc



i tried uninstalling then installing again



tried everything in the instruction book



it just won't work



i use Win7 ultimate



only the copy function worked, everything else failed.

update: i solved the problem

apparently usb extention cord will make it confused

when i removed the extention it worked.

Hi, That is good that you solved it your self, however you should also know that the Forum is the last resort when everything has failed, but that is good that you managed yourself...

my hp deskjet 3050 want connect to my computer

Hi i have tried everything to make it connect but it want i have vista on my computer. I have swapped cords and uninstalled the programs and reinstalled and i have no idea what to do please help
