My psu died

Pretty sure my psu died, I did the paper clip test and nothing happend. But my question is, how do I know if any of my other components didn't die with the psu? How often does the psu kill other components? My specs:

Cpu: Amd fx 8320e
Gpu: Amd r7 370 2gb
Motherboard: Asrock 970m pro3
Psu: A power ak series Sara atx power supply 680w (I know it's a TERRIBLE power supply)

Uncertain. Recommend working from the power outlet...follow the chain.

Prove good wall outlet first.

Check power cable for connection.

Check PSU for on/off switch.

Check motherboard for power LED.

Still 'dead', substitute a known good PSU.
