so I own a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd gen and I uninstalled the drivers because my sound monitors were making some weird crackling noises. However it turned out that that was because of a faulty wire. Now when I tried to plug the interface back in my laptop was not recognizing it. I tried to reinstall the drivers that are available on the device website it says the installation went fine but my pc is still not recognizing it. I ran msinfo32 and this is what came up at the problem devices tab "Not Available ROOT\FOCUSRITE_USB_AUDIO\0000 Reinstall the drivers for this device". When I plug the interface in another computer thats running ubuntu it gets recognized immediately. Please help me solve this issue because it is the only way I can still play guitar.
Btw my OS is windows 7
