My USB wireless adapter won't install on Windows 7?

I am running windows 7 and I am trying to connect to the internet via the usb wireless adapter, but my laptop wont read it. i tried all the usb ports but I get nothing.
I only have this problem with this usb wireless adapter everything else connects fine.

usb wireless adapter (belkin f5d7050b)
windows 7 amd antlon ll x2 m300
500gb hdd
4gb memory

Try to install it on another pc or laptop. If it work there then you may uninstall everything for wireless driver on your laptop and if it do not work then you adpater is damage.

Thanks for the reply Ultiweap. I did install it on my desktop and another laptop and it does work fine.
What do you mean uninstall everything for wireless driver?
If you mean for the wireless adapter that im having issues with, I tried that but no luck.
The setup doesn't see the adapter when I connect it to the laptop but I am able to see it on device manager and network adapters (it shows disabled).

I uninstalled all the drivers, but this didnt help.
So I returned windows to its factory settings and it worked Cheers
