Microsoft released its Band last Friday and we got to spend a little bit of time with the device. The wearable, which is a hot commodity right now as it is already sold out online, comes in three different sizes and works with the top three mobile platforms.

In the box comes the Band and the charger along with the typical instruction manual. No big surprises here but once you pick the Band up, you can tell that it is a quality piece of equipment.

The build quality feels great, the materials are sturdy and the clasp has a reassuring 'click' to it that makes you feel like the device will not fall off your wrist. The band of the Band is firm but has a rubbery feel to it and the device wraps snugly around your wrist.

I would like to know what it's supposed to do period!

What earthly difference does it make how well it fits, how pretty it looks, or how well it is made, when they don't include in the article what is its purpose? :confused:
