Better choice is to
  1. find the MAC address of the devices you what to have fixed addresses
  2. then use the Address Reservation feature in your router to make the association MAC --> Specific IP
Normally, ONLY shared devices get fixed addresses, like a scanner, printer, or NAS storage device
