So I just stepped out for my lunch break after posting it and saw a speak by reverand Al Sharptan on TV talking about how we need to "end this era for white nationalist extremism" and automatically, this election has already separating people by talking about race and making race an issue. I guarantee that when they hear politicians given speeches like that that you're immediately allienating white voters. If you preach hate then people are going to hate what you're preaching. Until the left solves that issue they push away the voters they need. Stick to the fundamentals and there might be a chance but they refuse to do that

Personally, I wouldn't consider Sharpton to be representative of the views of any political party. As I see him, his only claim to fame was with the Central Park 5 boys who were wrongly accused of raping a jogger in the park. While Sharpton was ultimately proven right about that particular incident, IMO, Sharpton has been way off the mark for a long, long, long time for someone who's "first" profession is a "man of the cloth, a man of Christlike nature." Clearly, IMO, he has lost touch with that side of himself. But I do agree with him white nationalism is a cancer on the country, and no white nationalist would ever vote for Sharpton if he were running for anything.

IIMO, and I am white myself, white nationalists are a complete step backward in time. They are lost, but showing them a different path is something that I bet will be challenging.

Put it this way, we are too busy labeling parties and groups of people...at the end of the day I rather have "socialist Democrats" or whatever label they want to put on them than Trump for another two years.

Enough is enough, we can't even afford memory for our computers since we can't have a government that can regulate the over-expansion of A.I centers....among many, many, many other issues caused by Trump and his egotistical ways.

Sure, but the news outlets are giving him attention and he does command a great deal of the black vote. His word alone can dictate which candidates get through democratic primaries. And the race baiting has already started on the left. A Democrat without the black vote can't get elected

They can do what seems to be a trend, just staying out of things. The Democrats alienated enough people to get Trump elected a second time. They're perfectly capable of such nonsense again.

Too many people are counting on voters to vote for the lesser of two evils to win but I see the current political climate making people down right catatonic when it comes to voting simply because they see the election as a choice between two people who they see as making the world worse. I feel that the majority of the people who feel that way are justified.

I'm sorry I'm constantly on all sorts of media outlets from NBCNews to FoxNews just to hear each other's points and while FoxNews is outrageous I can't say they are saying Democrats are calling people dumb...

Let's see...if someone manufacturers something that the United States also manufacturers, but due to their cheaper labor & manufacturing costs, can import it and sell it CHEAPER than the American made products, that is ok. But, if we manufacture something that another country does, and we can do it cheaper than that country, when we export it to that country, THEY impose an import tax on said product, which makes the price more expensive than what their product cost. And that is ok??

I don't think you understand. Tariffs are designed to protect domestic manufacturing by making cheaper imports the same price. What makes you think the US doesn't tariff imports of items competing with things made in the US? But that's not how they are being used. This administration is putting tariffs on things no one in the US makes which doesn't do anything to help anyone, except the government put tax money in their coffers.

Also the reasons the adminitration has given wasn't because other countries are putting tariffs on our goods all of the sudden. They protect their domestic manufacturing against foreign goods, just like we do and they had them in place well before this adminitration or the previous one. The reason that was given was trade deficits, which doesn't make any sense. You can't expect a much smaller country to import as many goods as a much larger country. You know who the largest importer of American goods are? It's Canada, the country this administration is having a trade war with, again.
