New x79 motherboard

Hi guys im a litle unceartain about witch mobo (X79) I should buy. Im a hardcore gamer, not a hardcore oc but I pretent doing it. Thx.

And one more thing, whats the most reliable brand of mobo.

Well the Asus Sabertooth X79 is pretty popular. All X79 mobos are capable of decent overclocking and have more features than you probably need given that it's an enthusiast platform. When it comes to brands I'd say Asus and Gigabyte are the top mobo makers followed by MSI and ASRock (who are cheap but seem to have improved vastly recently).

The most reliable brand is likely to change dependant on who is answering. My personal preference is Gigabyte, and I'd go with the GA-X79-UD5H.

You also need to decide whether you want a total of four RAM slots, or eight.
