No audio output device installed

Hi. so I have a asus rog g502vs laptop and it had realtek hd audio device but it just disappeared. I just cant find it anywhere. there is no 'Audio inputs and outputs' in the device manager and in 'Sound, video and game controllers' I can only see NVDIA virtual audio device. also there seems to be a problem with device manager>other devices>audio device on high definition audio bus. I've tried to download realtek high definition audio driver for windows 10 but when its almost done and 'intalshield wizard is installing' window pops up it fails after a short time and says 'realtek HD audio driver failure'. I also tried to 'Add Legacy hardware' form device manager but in the end it said that it could not install the Realtek hardware. (something like that). it all started when I launched troubleshooter, because there were no sounds in Google chrome, but Microsoft Edge was working just fine. so the troubleshooter told me to restart the PC but after doing so the problem appeared. it cant detect neither playback, nor recording devices. however my gaming headset's mic and speakers work fine on this pc. I'm desperate here, so I'd appreciate the help.

PS Sorry for this late reply!
Why you should think about Chipset drivers when you're having problems with drivers.

My advice---
Reinstall your OS.
Keep full system images using Macrium Reflect.
Don't screw around with your computer until you know more about using it.
With full system images you can fool around with it.

So I uninstalled Realtek from control panel and after rebooting the audio device and drivers were back to normal and I still have realtek audio driver in control panel. it appeared just as marvelously as it disappeared... anyway, thank you all for your replies, I appreciate it a lot.
