The price difference between 1160 and 2060 will suggest RT is not free.

Well, it certainly wasn’t free for Nvidia to research and develop. Although we don’t actually have an 1160, just rumours of one. I’m beginning to wonder if Nvidia need to bother if their competition is going to price as high as it appears to currently be doing.

Meh Nvidia is just trying to make a point cause Steve said truthfully what was the fact, about RTX, that's its a future technology and we are paying it for now.
So they can so suck on a lizards egg but am not buying till Steve's review is out.
If they think they can manipulate the readership on prominent tech review sites they are sorely mistaken.

They could, by mistake, not send you a card. Isn't that a possibility?

No at all. The companies have people that handle review units and make sure you get one. I used to write for two audio publications. Most of the slimy companies do not send review units to reviewers that don't overlay sunshine and unicorns on their product. One time I wrote a scathing review on a product that sucked. The publisher decided to not use it, rather then lose his "in" with said company.

I've been "computer" gaming for 38+ years, since before my TSR-80.

The amount of video cards, mice, keyboards, monitors, cases, fans, etc that I go threw (each year on my many gaming rigs), means I research what I buy. I have been a longtime follower of this and other legit sites and as a prosumer, I would like to let you know many of my co-workers and staff follow this site as well.

Stick to your guns. Anybody who needs to buy a (said) RTX2060 the day it goes on sale, is already buying it no matter what. Those who wait a few weeks, will stick back and respect the insight you (Techspot/Steve/etc) have done.

People crave quality & legitimacy.

That is one ugly face of a monopoly.
If there was more tension on the market Nvidia would've found enough cards for reviewers. It's a manufacturer in the end.
