I have a Dell Inspiron N411z with Windows 7 installed and I haven't been able to get any webcam to work for some time now. First my internal webcam stopped working and no hardware is detected for it. I fixed it once by uninstalling the USB hardware, but it broke yet again.
Due to not being able to fix that webcam, and wanting to skype with friends, I have bought external webcams. The first one stopped working, but I attributed that to the fact that it was $5 on Amazon. So recently I bought the Logitech C250 online and have tried that one out. It installs drivers, but the webcam drivers don't work correctly. It works fine as a microphone but for some reason the imaging drivers don't download correctly.
Can anyone help me with this? I'd love to be able to skype and hangout with my friends again! Thanks!
