Now independent, GOG is thinking about publishing games and embracing Linux

Now go back to your 30 fps on a 60 Hz LCD claiming Linux is good for gaming. Thanks for the free laugh tho 😂
You're haven't even given examples of actual problems with Linux, you're just saying it's bad and then gloating about how you own a high-end PC and can brute force your way through Windows' absurd resource usage, probably from them scraping data off your PC constantly.

The only games on Linux at this point that have major issues are those with kernel-level anti-cheat like CoD, Battlefield, Valorant, etc. which is a major security risk to begin with and interfere with each other. You might have seen BF6 sending a message telling users they have to uninstall Riot's Vanguard for the game to even run. I've yet to encounter a game that won't run fine, and the majority of multiplayer games have no issues on Linux. CS2, Overwatch 2, The Finals, ARC Raiders, The Finals, Deep Rock Galactic, Sonic Racing Crossworlds, Minecraft, Terraria, Core Keeper, Split Fiction, Helldivers 2, Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, etc. etc.

Also Linux users on average have better hardware than Windows users because for the most part they actually do some research and understand their hardware. I don't care enough about unoptimized UE5 AAA slop to go and spend $5000 on a PC. I also know what PPI is so IMO 4K is overhyped and pointless for a monitor that's 2-3 feet from your face, but my build is still solid enough to make use of my 1440p 240hz monitor.

I would love to see NOLF and NOLF2 updated and brought back. I had a lot of fun playing these.

Tons of examples, just search. 99 out of 100 games run way worse in Linux and the Anti Cheat problem is the biggest one, even according to Valve who tries and push Linux gaming. Steam is 99% Windows still.

All the multiplayer games that work in Linux, have a problem with cheaters. Easy to bypass and code injection is just too easy.

Again, casual gamers may be satisfied with Linux, demanding gamers, using high-end hardware and know how games can actually run, won't be. The end.

99% of Linux gamers, plays old single player games or indies on dated hardware. 30-60 fps on 60 Hz is the dream for these people.

Dude, just stop your BS. Game developers have 99% focus on Windows. Hardware manufactuers, same thing. Just because Linux got better for gaming, does not mean jack for people who demands top tier performance and access to entire PC game catalog. Linux is a joke for gaming still. People will see worse performance and spend time troubleshooting, or won't even be able to play, alot of new games.

Game developers has Windows listed in the requirements, for a reason.
Hardware manufacturers has 99.9% focus on Windows drivers, for a reason.
