What do you call frame generation. I'll wait.People calling DLSS "smoke and mirrors" on a major tech-site is really hilarious.

First you'd need to brush up on your basic English idiom usage. I won't hold my breath. What do you call frame generation. I'll wait.
So you have nothing to contribute. Got it. Now I know I can always rely on grammar troll to help me. Did I trigger you by criticing your favorite brand? Pop quiz if it quacks like a paid sponsored Nvidia troll what is it?First you'd need to brush up on your basic English idiom usage. I won't hold my breath.
Funny how these trolls seem to generalize last few years = always.Highest fps and RT performance at the top tier is a WIN, regardless of what it was "designed" for. Why can't AMD offer a challenger to Nvidia's best if the NV cards aren't even engineered for games (as you claim)? Looks to me like the 4090 offers the best of both worlds, price aside.
AMD isn't the mom & pop store that's a beloved local gem, struggling in the shadow of the Walmart next door, as so many fanbois like to portray. The bottom line is that AMD's architecture has always been a gen or two behind Nvidia's. And the driver situation has bitten them in the azz more than a few times.
I prefer to buy products that work as they should out of the box. AMD burned through their "Please be patient, we're a struggling but virtuous company and are still working on it to make it the best-est! Now who want's some fine wine!?" a long time ago. They have plenty of capital to compete with Nvidia. Bottom line is, they're fully committed to an architecture that is simply inferior to Team Green. Clearly, CUDA is for work AND gaming!
since when is reducing quality in graphics (with tons of blur and artifacts no less) can be considered a step forward in technology ?People calling DLSS "smoke and mirrors" on a major tech-site is really hilarious.

Like I said, it's pure comedy when people spread this FUD on the website which routinely praises DLSS and had articles analyzing it in depth, which stated that not only the results are either on par, or preferable even with artifacts, but sometimes actually better.since when is reducing quality in graphics (with tons of blur and artifacts no less) can be considered a step forward in technology ?

It's nvidia technology, of course the hordes of amd drones will flame the crap out of it. What do you expect, objective data? Why? They don't care about the games, the performance or the technlogies, they have one goal in life, praising AMD and pooping on everyone else.Like I said, it's pure comedy when people spread this FUD on the website which routinely praises DLSS and had articles analyzing it in depth, which stated that not only the results are either on par, or preferable even with artifacts, but sometimes actually better.

Can DLSS Render "Better Than Native" Graphics?
We often hear people say that DLSS can deliver "better than native" image quality, giving gamers not only a performance boost but superior visuals. Let's find out...www.techspot.com
"We also think it's quite rare that native rendering would be preferred over DLSS when factoring in the performance advantage that DLSS provides."
This really says it all. If in 2024 you still think that "DLSS suxxx" then you're probably one of these people who think playing games with a gamepad on PC is sacrilege.
