Nvidia removes overclocking from 900M mobile GPUs, a feature advertised on some notebooks

It's also not true that overclocking is not possible with the new driver. Some people just can't read tech releases and freak out instead of understanding what's going on. In the release notes for the driver, it is stated that while, "GPU overclocking is no longer supported in the default GPU driver control panel. This feature is available in the NVIDIA System Tools software, which you can download from NVIDIA.com." And indeed, on affected laptops, at least some of them, downloading this toolkit will allow you to overclock. Like several have mentioned, it's not really a great idea, but you can if you want to.
