They are still stream processors. "CUDA cores" is just a marketing term Nvidia uses for the stream processors on their GPUs, due to the fact that CUDA (like any GPGPU API) is handled by stream processors. Like any GPU, it's an array of small FPUs that still uses the stream processing paradigm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stream_processing).The 8800GT is still the faster card lol, despite it being 9 years old, it has 4 times the memory bandwidth and is a completely different architecture, back before they were called cuda cores, the stream processor days.
Most of already knew the a "boar", is basically a male pig. Hence not that much need to embellish the cliche. This card is about as useless as tits on a boar hog.
Yeah well, since you don't need one, nobody else should be allowed to need or have one. You should write nVidia a nasty letter. Tell them how you really feel.Manufacturers are still putting VGA on their cards? That connector needs to die, and has for over a decade.
Then cut and paste another to the other graphics vendors since they also include VGA-out on budget cards, since there are a fair number of monitors and TV's (especially in the budget market these cards also service) that are VGA only- including some still currently being sold.Yeah well, since you don't need one, nobody else should be allowed to need or have one. Yeah, he's probably wandering around like Moses in the wilderness, in the mental vacuum left by the ejaculation of that thought...although we are destined to never find out since the half life of righteous indignation on a tech forum probably meant he'd forgotten all about it a few minutes after clicking the "Post Reply" button.

Were we to be there, I'm sure your ...............would be lurking under a bridge. Welcome to Techspot, oh god of one post..

I know, right. All of a sudden, "give us Barabbas", starts to make a whole lot of sense.I'm insulted as well that he did not mention the generous tip I left at the last supper, even the wine tasted a bit watered down.
