Nvidia has updated their GeForce game bundle today with a new "Bullets or Blades" theme, giving purchasers of a high-end graphics card a choice between two major titles set to launch this holiday season.

The Bullets or Blade Bundle gives purchasers of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980 or 970 graphics cards one of two free games – Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, or Assassin's Creed Syndicate – depending on their choice. The bundle is also available to those who purchase a gaming notebook equipped with either a GeForce GTX 980, 980M or 970M.

Both games will feature GameWorks enhancements, although Nvidia hasn't specified what effects we can look forward to in either game. Rainbow Six Siege will launch on PC on December 1st, while Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be released on November 19th.

Like with previous GeForce game bundles, the Bullets or Blades Game Bundle is only available at participating retailers across the globe, so make sure you check that your favorite store is participating in the deal before you make a purchase. The bundle will be available from today until December 15th, 2015, and game codes will expire on December 31st.

Unfortunately the bundle isn't available for those who purchase the GTX Titan X, or lower-end GPUs. However those who grab a GTX 960 or GTX 950 are still eligible for Nvidia's Heroes of the Storm bundle.

Wow. What a bummer. I just finished opening up my 980ti box I received in the mail from newegg. Wonder if they'll match this if they are offering the promotion.

For $700 they better! I do need to upgrade from my 5770 but if I do that, I need to upgrade the CPU/Mobo. Wondering if I should wait till Zen.

Thats exactly the card I'm jumping from. It's in the laptop I'm typing in at the moment. I can't wait till I get the case and parts I'm missing and putting it all together. I'm sure I'm going to be blown away by the quality of it all.

Oops my mistake. Just double checked on that and the gpu on the laptop is a 5730. So more of a jump. : )
