Overclocking the $55 AMD Athlon 200GE CPU

In an unexpected turn of events, it's now possible to overclock the otherwise-locked $55 Athlon 200GE processor. In what appears to be a slip up by MSI, the component maker has enabled Athlon overclocking with their latest BIOS release across its entire AM4 motherboard lineup.

So does this work on X470? sure yadda yadda $70 B series boards, but people interested in buying one of these as a placeholder for ryzen 3000 are going to want a nicer board then a $70 piece, especially if they want to OC a 7 series int he future.

Yes they said that every MSI board allows overclocking.

Curious about compile time, particularly Unreal and or Unity game engines.

It would be awesome to know if a budget CPU which happens to be the baseline of your game's minimum CPU requirement actually has a compile time similar to high end CPUs.

Don't know why non of the benchmark sites care about this.

Spend a little more and buy a better CPU then you don't have to worry about cooling and other CPU management problems.

Fun to play around with but not for the real world.
