Has anyone done a Windows-based build dedicated to being a touch-screen system for running a soft synthesizer?
Besides having a fast processor and RAM, I suppose a pretty fast touch response time would be important, and audio processing - by audio card - would be required.
My guess is a PCI-E audio card would be the fastest bus for audio out.
I know nothing about touch screen PC monitors: do I need to get a special type? Is a decent one super-expensive, or can I get one for under $200?
