Perfect uninstaller not detecting TM

I've ran a couple different searches on how to uninstall TM because it does not appear in add/remove programs, and they all keep leading me to the perfect uninstaller so I downloaded and ran it and it is not detecting TM hijackthis. the thing is when I open my computer/c:/program files/ .... there is a Trend Micro folder there that contains hijackthis. Does anyone have any advice on how to properly remove it?
