Phenom II x4 and motherboard support

hello im planning to buy HDZ955FBGMBOX link http://aio.lv/lv/pc-components/cpu_2/cpu-phen2-x4-955-sam3-box_125w-3200-hdz955fbgmbox-amd/ and i have motherboard asus m4a78 link http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=8DgaI5WgY50udcbZ it show support ALL if HDZ955(but last letters is not the same) will it support my mb couse i dont have pcb 1.02G i see that HDX955... is by pcb version 1.02G

I didn't see the Phenom II X4 955 listed in the CPU Support list for the M4A78 on the ASUS website. Might be a good idea to contact ASUS support just to be sure one way or the other.

i did a little research found this site where http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K10/A... Edition - HDZ955FBK4DGM (HDZ955FBGMBOX).html is shown box part number HDZ955FBGMBOX (which is shown in site where i will get cpu) and cpu part number which i see in asus cpu-supprot list! i assume its the same only in one place is shown cpu box number and in support list cpu part nummber! i assume then it will work with my fathers MB getting him a new cpu
