so should I remove them...
This morning I turn my computer on this box said

thefile or directory/Documents and settings/local settings/temp/AAWTMP/C3146843/AF3BB
is corrupt it said to run chdsk utility not sure how to do this

Yes do. It does no harm at all to clear out temp files regularly. You never know if nasties may be lurking there.
Get automated from here.

OK. go to My Computer Right click select Properties | Tools and under Error Checking click Check Now. On the options tick both and Start.

Thanks guys for your help but I scan in spy bot again and it goes until it gets to coupon and offers then it shuts down the computer. What can be causing this to do that. I have tried everything that you post here to helping it and still I cant seem to get my spy bot, adware SE or McAfee to scan.

Howard
I have ran it but it do not show xfire_lsp_8742.dll

This is what comes up,
mssock.dll Tcpip
winrnr.dll NTDS
rsvpsp.dll Protocol handler
So now what can I do here?

mssock.dll is not a Windows file.

If the others come up after this one is removed I would guess they have been changed and so could be given the treatment.

ok so i can jsut delete the mssock.dll and what about replacing those other ones?? what do i replace the .dll with??? thanks

I'm not sure there could be a back-up copy that'll install itself. Do a search in Explorer for each and see what is returned. Note locations, size and file date.

Ok I'm going to take my computer in to have it looked
All these thing have to do with my windows system32  . I do not know what I'm doing with that and I would have to back-up something before I having done to it.
But really like to thank you all so much for the help you did do for me here
:)
