PS4 and 4G from EE

Hi all, I have a 4G EE, box as we dont want a landline in our new flat, I use what we currently have for my online businesses and web building, im just wandering what would be the usage of playing PS4 online every so often and if it will eat up all my data ?

We currently get 500gb.

Thanks.

I think you are asking "How much does a PS4 consume of the internet bandwidth when it is active?"

I have 4G EE too, due to my location. Normally gaming won’t use that much of your data, but patches, updates and game downloads will chomp through it. I find the ping to be highly variable too, but I suspect the router/modem is partly to blame here (as it’s as cheap as they come).

IMO, highly variable ping rates are rarely due to our equipment, but closely related to the system server we are accessing, eg an over loaded game server.

True but I know it’s not the case with this system, as I have a known server to test it against. The router regularly drops the 5GHz WiFi signal too, so I may well just have a duff box.
