Question about Belarc Advisor

It shows I have 93 MS updates for my HP Windows 8.1 laptop yet when I run windows update, it has gone 12 plus hours ...... I was having problems with the laptop, got frustrated & reset it to factory settings but still show the 93 , some critical, any help is appreciated

Well, Windows Updates has been searching for updates for over 6 hours 17 minutes now

Update; I was trying to install f secure on my laptop when this "To install the product, your computer needs KB2999226 "
so I attempted to do such but it didn't work.
Before resetting it, this update HP - HIDClass 7/25/2015 12:00:00 AM - 1.1.7.1 also would install.
I finally stopped windows update, going to run my other security programs & hope all goes well, thanks for reading
