Question about browsers & other programs

Is it ok to post program updates in here? Like a new version of Google Chrome http://www.filehippo.com/download_google_chrome/

or other browsers/programs?

Don't know about whether it's ok or not, but I like to get program straight from the source. For Chrome, I'd get it from here:

I understand. As for the Google Chrome update I posted, I did update mine via the browser itsself but some other times I do update via filehippo. Thanks for your input.
