Radeon RX 570 vs. RX 580 vs. GeForce GTX 1060 3GB vs. GTX 1060 6GB

UEFI vs BIOS is an open question. I have seen some cards which indicate dual settings compatibility. However, I have seen reports of AMD R series cards not running on an older non-UEFI motherboard. If you have a legacy BIOS motherboard as I do, you should confirm that these cards will actually work with your system.

Non-UEFI compatibility for RX series depends on the AIB as well from what I've heard. For example, Sapphire cards only support UEFI.

Power consumption considerations !!!

The RX580 can draw up to 330 watts of power and AMD recommend you use a GOOD quality PSU (800+) with a well vented case so buyers must also consider any additional hardware upgrade costs. The RX 570 and especially the 1060 demand less power and run on any mid powered (640W) PSU assuming there is adequate space in the case. So maybe the 580 is the best bang for your bucks on paper but the reality might be somewhat different for many. For a small cut of 10/15% performance could be in real terms a huge savings on cost since for most it will be a straight upgrade/replacement without any additional hardware upgrade requirements

That 330W is most likely whole system power, not graphics card power. You really don't need anything more than a 500W power supply for any of those cards, and even then you're way above what is really required. You'd easily run it with a good quality 400W PSU, even Bronze rated.
