Been having this issue for a REALLY long time. It seems to flare and then go away for awhile. It happened 3 times yesterday and once so far today, so I am declaring war. Error reporting usually informs me it is a device driver error, but can't identify the device.
I will attach the error info from the event viewer:

I am one of those awful PC users that knows JUST ENOUGH to really screw things up, so don't be afraid to be really specific with your answers!
