I just got done hooking up my PC to my Panasonic TV for the first time, and now I have returned my laptop (HP pavillion) to its original location, separate from the TV.
I have 2 options for the audio output in the Realtek audio manager: Digital output and speakers.
When I make the digital output the default device, there is no sound coming from the PC at all. When I make the speakers the default device, the PC speakers work, but the sound is horribly distorted, unlike before I hooked the PC up to the TV.
I have a feeling the problem has something to do with the dual screen/clone/single screen modes when the PC and TV are hooked up.
Any help would be great.
