Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Graphics Benchmark: What You'll Need to Play

No measure of how much VRAM was used? It's easy to see in programs like Argus. Just curious if it uses close to 8GB like Middle Earth: Shadow of War.

You must not have grown up playing Goldeneye on the N64. Tolerance for lower FPS can be inculcated if you play it long enough. Playing overseas on a 720p TV@30Hz with a GTX 880M laptop for months in 2014 trained my brain to be fine with it even though I had 144Hz monitors, a 5930K, and 780Ti SLI back home. Many amongst the average PC gamers are happy with the smoothness they have been conditioned to, even if that is well below 1080p/60FPS. Really they are the smart ones, saves them a lot of $$ and doesn't impact their enjoyment.
uhm, tolerance for anything can be inculcated, but that doesn't mean it's a standard we should strive for. People in war zones still laugh, dance and live life, but it's a huge leap in logic to say "we should all be fine with war zones because it just takes some getting used to". :p

I did some searching and could not find "mufuc". Would you please share a link? That would be great.
Sorry friend, I made a typo, duh, it is called "wufuc" not mufuc. It's avaliable at GitHub.

There it is! Thank you friend!

Listen, if none of the gtx 10x cards of Nvidia won't go above 60fps then in my book the game isn't coded or optimized properly. Not way in hell I'll do an upgrade for 1 game. Rockstar has a tendency to make low effort towards mid to low range anyways. I wasn't expecting anything from them. I got a gtx 1060 6gb and I'm surprised the game wont go above 40fps which is shameful

I wouldn't say that they put low effort; I'm getting 50FPS@1080p on an i7 980X with a GTX 980Ti on high settings and 35FPS with a 780Ti on medium settings. That's pretty decent imo for an almost 10 year old CPU paired with 4 and 6 year old cards.

I would have liked if Techspot did a Benchmark with completely maxed out graphic settings everything maxed out including MSAA. We need to see how cards stack up at completely maxed out settings. I myself hell I am addicted to seeing every option maxed out it's a damn curse lol. I have to have max settings otherwise I spend the time I'm supposed to enjoying the game worrying that I left something on medium instead of high it can drive a person mad lol

The drivers must have improved as im getting 60-80fps with almost all settings at ultra at 1440p on a 2080.
