Reformatting laptop with split drive

hi all i got split hard drive on my laptop i want to upgrade to win 7 from vista when i did it before it still has traces of vista on it should i delete on c and d drive then reformat to win7 on c drive ? please help also when going on say things like facebook or just browsing everything freezes and i cant turn off or nothing unless using power button please help thanks

Yes, especially if you are upgrading from Vista, delete all existing partitions. A Vista restore partition won't help you with Windows 7 installed anyway. It just takes up valuable hard drive space

hi magic i deleted D drive then expanded c so its now 1 drive all seems ok thanks
