Rootkit.trace virus help me please

I have virus rootkit.trace and only(1)item which is this virus comes up in Malwarebytes. After i select to remove/quarintine it and run the program again it show up again. I have read so many posts regarding this virus.
Can someone please explain the easiest way to remove this permanently.
I would like to start from the beginning. What exactly do I need to do to permanently remove this file.
