Now i would just keep scanning as i advised above and run CCleaner every 3 weeks and you should be safe on there

Hi Rev,

think i worked out the problem with HJT log file...

whilst uploading before, i didnt see the bit on screen that say i already uploaded "that file" ie hijackthis.log !!!

however if you note, i changed the name to include a time stamp...this changes it from the original file i posted.

My feeling is that if you just use the standard log file it seems to think you are posting the original again so it wont upload...

Maybe the wizards at HJT can incorporate a date/time group same as Malware does then we know the time the scan was done...

You are correct Sir, that was my main PC.
Laptops are my next project.... but with some new found knowledge these last few days i think i'm better equipped..

Well it sounds like a logical answer :suspiciou they will have to look into that.
