    Wow... news.
    SanDisk has not been our favorite for other devices, such as flash drives, and such.
    Maybe we have been unlucky, but SanDisk has been among the highest in failure rates, and in response to warranty requests.
    Hope they have it right this time.

    This is good news that the 480GB versions of SSDs are starting to hit sub $1k a bit more now.
  4. I won't be interested in SSDs as long as their prices are so high like the way they are today. May be when a 480GB SSD's price become like $100 or so then; and only then; I might switch from HDD to SSD.

    I will pass for the next 3 years.
  5. you can "grind" for 3 years ..with your hard drive

    i'll purr .. with my Vertex 3 Max IPOS for 3 years :D
