Go to add remove programmes in your control panel and uninstall the drivers.

Then, open your device manager and right click on your video adapter, select uninstall.

Reboot your computer. Windows should install the standard vga driver.

Download the drivers again form the website I gave you. Install them and reboot your computer. Set your screen resolution to 1024x768.

To get to device manager do the following.

Right click my computer and select manage, then click device manager.

Hi
First -
this forum requires you post your system details so that it is easier for us to help .
The 865 chipset video drivers can be installed from Intel ,
There was a windows patch that set the resolution to the one you have - you might need to remove the updates, let me know if it does not fix the issues after drivers are updated- everytime u restart the systme , the update will chage the resolution to 640
-- to check if the video drivers are installed or not --
click on start--run. Type 'devmgmt.msc' (without quotes) in that window and press Ok.
there check if you have any ! or ? marks, the device wiht marks need drivers

es84.

If you care to read this thread from the begining, you`ll see what`s been happening lol.

I gave praveen198830 a link to his graphics drivers and once he`d installed them, they worked.

Unfortunately, he decided to try a screen resolution of 1280x whatever and his system couldn`t handle it.

The rest is covered in the last few posts.

No problem mate.

Cross posting happens all the time around here lol.

The only other thing I can suggest, is doing a system restore to before your problems occured. Failing that, maybe you should take you computer to your local pc repair shop and have them sort it out for you.
