Search redirect virus

I've finally gotten a virus that I can't get rid of. All searches by Google and Bing are being redirected to an advertising site. On occasion IE will open a new window and go to a Google page. I've performed the 8 steps suggested in the sticky including the 3 scans with logs. I couldn't find anything in the logs that alarmed me but that doesn't mean anything.

System:
Dell Dimension 8200
WINXP SP3 with current updates
AVG Ver 9.0.716
Internet Explorer Ver 8.0

Have attached the 3 log files as requested.
I thank in advance the brave soul willing to assist me in removing the virus.

Update of problem

In addition to the search redirect virus I now have a problem with my computer shutting down. When trying to restart my background screen goes away and I get the Windows Shutting Down screen and it stalls at that point. Have to hit the reset button to restart.

Try performing an XP repair or perform a Dell restore on the computer

Have used Combofix before and decided to try it again. Problem seems to be fixed. I believe the virus was embedded in the atapi file.
