I have been having this issue for along time now. I am giving it another go.

I tried to upgrade to sp2 but when I restarted my pc it looked overblown and cartoonish.

I took sp2 out and its great.

Unfortunately, alot of programs require sp2.
What do I do?
Is it my graphics?
Is it my RAM?
I have alot of memory.
I dont run huge programs.

I am at a loss.

Someone...............................................
Please help me.

Change the resolution and other settings?

Probably going to want a graphics card as well. 128MB of memory isn't a lot for XP SP2, I recommend at least 256 or 512 but thats probably not whats taking you down. Just go buy a cheap card and try it out again.

We still need to know your video capabilities. As Whiffen rightly points out 128 megs of RAM is minimum for XP Home. Anything less and the OS has some functions not usable.

When you say you "have a lot of memory" how much is a lot?
