Slate Auto reveals a no-frills electric truck for under $20,000, made in the US

Felony convictions
34 Falsifying business records (New York)
Mishandling National Security documents (Florida)
Attempting to overturn an election (Federal)
Racketeering to overturn an election (Georgia)

You don't even know that you are in a cult, do you?
The worst thing about Trump supporters is that they do know they're in a cult and they know what they're doing is wrong, but they just don't care. It's called willful ignorance. Do you really think this guy doesn't know Trump is a convicted felon? Please. Even if you get all your news from the Fox Propaganda Network, FakeNewsMax, or One America Liars, there's no way you wouldn't hear about it. It was literally on every non-news channel and in every newspaper.

Cool concept although the manual windows are a bit odd imo. Does that actually save money, something robust enough to spin around by hand can't be much cheaper than some buttons and an electric motor.

Wonder if they left space to run wires for speakers etc. Also wonder how that plastic holds up with some places in the US getting awfully hot. Interesting, but don't think I'd want to jump in on a first generation product. Let's see how their products fare after 5 years or so.

Just one? How about 34? He was in fact convicted on 34 felony counts.

"Trump was convicted on all counts on May 30, 2024, becoming the first U.S. president to be convicted of a felony."

Let me guess, the trial was rigged and doesn't count, right?

So you can't name a single one that hasn't been overturned. And EVERYRONE knows that the NYC trial was rigged. Even CNN admitted it.

It quite literally is. They have adapters that go into regular outlets, just slow as hell. It's called level one charging. It's pretty easy to find high powered outlets too.

Do you expect everyone living in an apartment complex to dangle extension cords from their windows down to their vehicles? Perhaps you're correct in that the answer is simply this: don't be poor. Multitenant structures do exist in rural / suburban areas and make up a sizable portion of the population. They need infrastructure.

I like it!
It evokes the Star Trek NG shuttles feel.... everything is simple, smooth and uncluttered.
I kinda wish they'd made the blank panels in the centre of the dash removable/adjustable so you could install your own infotainment system (obviously at your own expense and support) like a standard double din 7" screen and controls car audio unit... perhaps even add a speaker into the right hand panel.

I think it looks alright, and with the SUV top on it looks a bit like a Ford Bronco.
Though for $20,000 it is lacking on features and range, but maybe that is more of an issue with just how expensive the average vehicle has gotten.

Man, Trump’s living rent free in your head.
This discussion has zero to do with politics, stop spewing your hate it where it doesn’t belong.

OT
Really liking this concept, simple, affordable, and made in the US. Not everyone needs a luxury EV with all the bells and whistles. For a hobby truck or light utility use, this could be a great fit. Excited to see more practical options like this hitting the market.

being convicted of and having committed a felony are 2 different things. Nearly all the presidents have committed a felony, they just haven't been convicted. Trump got re-elect despite being convicted of having multiple felonies because most people understand that. Most politicians just never goto trial and therefore are never convicted. Now stop talking about politics in a thread about an electric truck.

You can pick witch one is awarded the ugliest.

America was settled by, founded by, and has been run by criminals since. Not sure why anybody is acting like this is suddenly a new thing…

That was Australia.

Judging by their Jewish and Asian communities still have to fortify in place at every whistle from outside, they still are.

Techspot. Seriously WTF? I got a 15 day ban for calling a certain group of people "unintelligent" yet here you are, allowing a username of "DemocratPedos" on your site? If this is not a violation of TOS, what is?

-Eh, it's just the freedom of speech those same users are trying to deny others right now in this thread.

"Stop talking about my lord and savior Donald in a topic that is directly affected by his trade policy"

One must take care when fighting monsters lest once become a monster themselves.

As long as these vehicles have good reliability, and the fact they have mod kits I think makes this $20K truck is winner. The only company likely to match the cost is BYD but that won't happen as long as tariffs are in place.

Key information: $20K AFTER federal “incentives.” Any real small business owner understands the prudence of not being dependent on government dole to keep solvent, unlike the zombie corporations that run this country. They can suck Bezo’s Blue Origin dildo.

Its the D.I.Y. element, man. You get out your jigsaw and a few self tappers. Cut your own hole and wack in anything you want. Expresso machine, 8-track, condom dispenser........................
