Hey guys!
When I play my games like Call of Duty MW2 and stuff, the loading screens take a long time, but once it has loaded, my games are blazing fast. I am wondering if this can be caused by a slow hard drive.
Has anyone ran the EVEREST Disk benchmarks?
My WD 500GB 7200RPM HDD got the scores of:
Linear Read(Begin) - 73 MB/s
Linear Read(Middle) - 55 MB/s
Linear Read(End) - 34 MB/s
Random Read - 58 MB/s
Buffered Read - 206 MB/s
Average Read Access - 14.80 ms
I am wondering if these speeds are normal, because my games' loadscreens take forever (20-30 Seconds), and I thought the hard drive would be rated at 3 GB/s
Thanks
Chris
