"trickle down economics" has proven to be a sham tme and time again. That money usually ends up in the hands of wealthy contractor companies, not the little guys making things happen.

That's what they keep saying BUT FaceBook said the same thing, as did ALL other online companies, and every single one of them has had a major data breach that has called into question their statements. The problem isn't that the companies WANT to keep things secure it's just that they have alot of employees and that means it only takes one to make a mistake and our data is everywhere.

I'm thinking there aren't that many buyers for a $650K virtual yacht so the secondary market is pretty bleak. He's not talking about trickle-down economics here. That would involve some government de-regulation or tax cuts to the buyer such that he now has the cash to buy a virtual boat. In this case, he's not wrong. Some person, with a lot of money, just moved that money into the hands of other people.
Money flows in many directions, left, right, up and down. I do believe that when we have a healthy economy it benefits everyone. People who are making money, spend it. That money goes to others in the form of paychecks and direct payments for services and goods. Tax revenues are higher as well.
I know from personal experience that when I had good paying jobs and my finances were stable I tended to spend money on services like house cleaning or yard work. Jobs that I would normally do myself when money was tight.

As much as we like to convince ourselves otherwise, the truth is that most people do the exact same things with a lot of money that they do with a little money. So if you want to be generous, start now rather than wait until you have more money. If you can't spare money, sharing your time is often even more helpful for many people.
I have helped people and will continue to do so, but I shouldn't matter to you. Just remember that a little bit of action makes a much bigger change than any amount of dreaming, planning, or basically any online activity.

Sometime last week, Steven Colbert (**) explained "NFTs" in depth. He wrote the explanation down on a paper bag, and is auctioning the bag off, with the proceeds going to actual charitable causes.

The LGBTQ movement is pretty big and growing and the best thing about said movement is that most of them are not breeders. So many arbitrary identity classifications, but only 2 that really matter. Those who breed and those who do not.

All very true, but only to a certain point. In recent years, the white birth rate has equaled its death rate. The 3rd world, haven't let up that much. So, you have to take into account the social status, and educational performance of those that will comprise, "the next generation. Our, "devolution", may occur faster than anyone would like to believe, or even our worst fears.
Movies like, "Idiocracy", and, "The Hunger Games", may turn out to be dire unfortunate prophecies, as opposed to the social satire they were intended to be.
In fact, if you watch any Hollywood gala event.these days, the cast of characters there, parallels the inhabitants of, "District One", in the Hunger Games.
I'll no doubt be branded a "racist" for this observation. But for decades I've opined, "well there's no food, no water, no crops, and the cattle are all dead, so I guess there's nothing left to do tonight, but make more babies"...

There's no such thing as a racist in the context of it being a variant trait of the human condition. To have a multitude of biases and prejudices, including, but not not limited to, racial, is simply an inherent component of being human. To see the world without any prejudice is not organic, but rather the result of programming which most often fails to take hold completely.

I believe NFT and crypto are complete trash and worthless. Once the US government runs out of options to fight inflation, it can and will crash the crypto market. The solution to solve the financial crisis is to crash one of the overvalued markets.
