My desktop PC is a continuously upgraded home-built rig started way back in 2014. It was perfect in every respect, all the time, until suddenly a few weeks back, it started acting strangely.
I noticed that a lot of files and folders seemed to be grayed out to varying degrees, and had elements of Google Drive and OneDrive in their addresses!
Now I'm terrified that I might eventually lose the use of Quicken, which is no longer Intuit (except for licensing) and is in the throes of a lot of new development under new management to a new version, called Quicken-2020.
Quicken-2020 shows alarming inconsistencies all over the place, and it seems these problems might not be resolved for as long as a year or two! Pretty shocking, no?
I'd appreciate to know if anyone else has experienced any of the above, particularly if they have some concrete ideas that might help.
Thanks!
