Sound mixer and network card go dead; Hijacked?

  1. I've got an interesting problem(s); First - I couldn't access volume controls because there was no sound mixer installed -I restarted Windows Audio in services but it gets disabled again. I also would lose internet and discovered that my network card loses tcp/ip settings (can't access them under the card's properties) - removing and reinstalling the card fixes that until the next reboot.

This sounds more like a system problem. But I'll be glad to check the system for malware. We don't 'screen' for malware with HijackThis so if you would like us to check the system for malware, please follow the steps in the Preliminary Virus and Malware Removal thread HERE.

When you have finished, leave the logs for review in your next reply .
