Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords PC error

i bought a game called star wars knights of the old republic 2 the sith lords and when i scanned my system it sayed that my hardware and computer and stuff has met the recommended except my video card which does meet the minimum requirement but i start the game and i create my character and then i click play and it says loading then error and windows cant find a solution please help i love this game and it wont work

What is your laptops model number and who makes it?

Have you tried it on the lowest settings? Most likely you don't have directx 10 or 11.
