Star Wars: The Acolyte has been canceled after one season

Star Wars is white guys. I love the hypocrisy of the people shouting "woke" "woke" "woke." Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY. You guys better not tell Lando Calrissian that Star Wars is white guys. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Landonis_Balthazar_Calrissian
Politics really weren't brought into the conversation until YOU started with the "cult leader" comment.
Oh? Then what's this about "the left" at comment #5???? Oh, I know. You said NOTHING.

About Disney and Star Wars, I made my point here.

SW is for everyone obviously. But in the 70s this was a different story and SW fandom is probably still largely white male. Which makes me wonder why then would they create a series where white men as so scarce if they are probably the majority of the watchers? I know why...because it's leslye headland's view of smash the patriarchy women strong white man bad. Leslye even hired amandla stenberg who was seen in interviews saying "making white men cry was the idea". You can act ignorant if you like but everyone knows exactly what's happening. It's typical Disney and Hollywood these days.

As for my "left wing" comment, that was a description of the social views of the people I was speaking about. Notice I did not bring up a party or politician but a viewpoint.

I didn't mind a plot showing the Jedi as participating in morally ambiguous activities that they believed were right. That's a very good historically based plot technique. Seeing the Jedi as imperfect was interesting. Seeing the conflict that comes out of it and maybe how it weakens the Jedi because of it would be interesting too. It's something for them to deal with and overcome. Beyond that possibility, I saw nothing except maybe that witchcraft was another manifestation of the force. Great potential but no follow through.

Politics really weren't brought into the conversation until YOU started with the "cult leader" comment. Until now I don't think the "cult leader" has even been mentioned. It looks like you're the one struggling with insecurities.

Social issues were brought up and for good reason. When the director herself starts talking about it being "the gayest starwars ever". And if you know anything about the show you can see her social views were in fact imported into it. You can't expect people to not notice and bring it up in a situation like this where they REALLY want everyone to see it.
I guess the words "Woke" and "Left" don't constitute politics in your willfully oblivious world.

No they don't. Just like being conservative is a social view and not a party.
No one brought up politicians or a party before you did. We were speaking on social views.
