Gun-related crime is VASTLY higher in the US than in Canada... the gun-related homicide rate in the US was 4.42 per 100k with over 15,000 deaths due to gun-related homicide...

Canada's rate was 0.74 per 100k with less than 300 deaths... I'm gonna pick my country's approach, thank you very much
