Suggestions on a router...

not too tech savvy here and looking to get a new updated router. have dsl that connects with modem to pc, wifi printer (that are in one room) and son's laptop and his gaming systems (uses his xbox 360 primarily) in another room...rooms are basically next to one another...was looking at the netgear n900 and the linksys e4200 v2...anyone have an opinion on either and which one better than the other?

I am partial to netgear & dlink; Others prefer Linksys - - it really doesn't matter too much
unless you get into custom settings and management.

in your opinion, do you then think the netgear n900 would work well with the equipment i have? like i said, i'm not tech savvy and just need some guidance in selecting a fast, dependable and appropriate router for my needs (which are quite simplistic, no fancy smancy networking)
