Switched computer cases, no sound

I just switched my computer cases over, is exactly the same setup on the inside, but I can hear no sound. I've uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them, I've updated direct x, I've checked every single volume control and speaker setting I can find. Help.

I'm running Win XP home, the soundcard is an onboard Realtek AC 97, and my motherboard is a GA-8SGXP-FS.

Make sure the I/O shield isnt touching the audio ports.
